What should we wear?
After booking, you’ll receive a style guide tailored to your session. We’ll talk through your personal style, colors that photograph beautifully, and how to coordinate outfits if multiple people are involved. If you’d like additional help, I’m also happy to connect you with a trusted personal stylist.
We’re not good at posing. Will you guide us?
Absolutely. Most of my clients say this before their session. My role is to guide you throughout the shoot so you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. I’ll give clear direction while keeping the atmosphere relaxed so the portraits feel authentic rather than overly posed.
Do you offer outdoor sessions?
Yes. I offer both studio and outdoor sessions.
The location often depends on the season and the type of portraits you’re creating. For some sessions, a studio setting can be more comfortable and controlled, especially for families with young children. For others, an outdoor setting can add a beautiful natural backdrop. We’ll decide what works best for your vision during the planning process.
How much do portrait sessions cost?
Portrait sessions start at $350 for a simple session. Many clients choose collections that include wall art or heirloom albums designed to be displayed and kept for years. During our consultation, we’ll discuss the options and choose what best fits your goals.
What types of organizations do you work with?
I work with entrepreneurs, small businesses, and larger organizations who need professional portraits for their teams. This includes corporate headshots, branding photography, and team imagery for websites, marketing materials, and internal communications.
Can you photograph large teams?
Yes. I regularly photograph teams ranging from a few individuals to large organizations. My process is designed to move efficiently while keeping the experience calm and professional so your team can get back to their day quickly.
How are branding and headshot sessions priced?
Sessions start at $350, with custom collections available for individuals, teams, and larger organizations. Because every company has slightly different needs, the best way to determine pricing is through a quick call where we can discuss scope and scheduling.
How does ordering work for families?
Families receive a secure online gallery where they can view and purchase their photos directly. This means your organization does not have to collect payments or manage order forms.
Do families have to purchase packages?
No. Package purchases are not required. Families can purchase individual prints starting at $10, or choose from packages that begin around $35.99, which include print and digital options.
What if a child misses photo day?
I offer a scheduled make-up day at my studio for students who miss photo day or aren’t ready for photos that day. This ensures everyone has the opportunity to participate without creating extra coordination work for your organization.
How long does it take to receive photos?
Galleries are typically delivered within two weeks of photo day. Families receive access directly through the gallery so they can order quickly and easily.
How far in advance should we book?
Many organizations book their photo days several months in advance to secure preferred dates. If you’re planning a school, dance, or sports program photo day, it’s best to reach out early.
Do you travel?
Yes. While The Artists Collection is based in San Antonio, I regularly travel for portrait sessions and organizational photo days.
